Auchenharvie 88 Golf Club was formed in 1988 by Arthur and Peter Breslin.
The club has maintained a steady member base through the years and is the ideal place for anyone that is new to the game or looking to take up the game after a period of time away from the course. You will find our club and committee members very welcoming and helpful no matter your experience of the game.
The course itself is a municipal run by KA Leisure and all golfers wishing to join Auchenharvie 88 Golf Club must have a valid KA Season ticket before joining. Auchenharvie Golf Complex also has the added benefit of having an 18 bay practice range to help improve your skills or have a warm up before your round.
The course is situated a few minutes away from the centre of Stevenston and runs opposite Auchenharvie Leisure Centre. The course, opened in 1981, has been built on a redundant coal mine and still features the original pump house to the side of the third green.
The course is laid out as a nine hole course and offers 18 different tee positions to provide variation over playing 18 holes. A small loch in the centre of the course provides an additional challenge when playing the signature second and third holes. Don’t let the short length of the course fool you, the fairways are tight and the greens are smaller than most golf courses, but these factors help sharpen up your golf game.
