Join The Club

Like any Golf Club we are always looking to welcome new members.

Regardless of your experience or playing ability you will find our club a relaxed, friendly environment to learn the game, or improve your skills.

At the moment we have 83 members with playing handicaps ranging from 6-36 who all enjoy playing in the weekly medals, club competitions and the Ayrshire Golf Association (AGA) Golf League.

We fully encourage all of our members to participate in the AGA team games as it has proven to be a great environment to play golf in, and to also foster new friendships and camaraderie between our members. Participation is not mandatory, but if you develop an interest then our team selection committee will always give you the opportunity to play.

By joining the club you will receive an official handicap that is maintained by our committee for you. We use the Scottish Golf VMS Handicap Software to keep your official Handicap Index up to date. Having an official handicap also allows you to participate in open competitions all over the country should you wish to do so. If you are joining from another club and you already have your handicap then all we require is a copy of your handicap certificate or your CDH number before you join.

If you are taking up the game for the first time or your handicap has expired all you need to do is hand in 3 cards to our handicap convener and we can get you started on the road to scratch golf.

A club member is always available to mark your scorecards. We require 2 cards marked from the yellow tees and 1 card marked from the white medal tees in order to provide you with your handicap. Or three from the whites or 3 from the yellows. Because of the new rules it can be a mixture of both. Your Handicap Index (HCI) will be formulated from these 3 cards.

Our committee members and handicap convener can assist you with all aspects of your handicap.

If you are interested in joining our club please complete the application form below and a member of our Committee will contact you.

This will be used to create your Scottish Golf Login if you do not already have one.
