Sunday 8th of April saw Team88 return to Ayrshire Golf Association league duty.
The lads lined up in their first home tie of the season against a familiar Routenburn team. Having played Routenburn in last years AGA Handicap league with one win apiece from the previous two matches and knowing what to expect from a very good team, it was important to get off to a good start at home.
The weather played a big part in the tie with the heavens opening just before tee off and carrying on well into the round. No team felt an advantage on a heavy course but having home advantage eventually counted as Team88 ran out 4-2 winners on the day.

A great start to the season, and if last years’ experience has taught the team anything its that home games are a must win in this league to stand any chance of progressing.
We are looking forward to our next outing in the league which is an away tie vs Troon Wellbeck on Sunday 29th April at 10.00am.
