New Season Starts Saturday March 31st

With the new season fast approaching and the thought of summer golf in everyones mind after the long winter, its important to remember to pay your club membership fees (preferably before Saturday March 31st) and also make sure your KA Leisure Season Ticket is up to date.

Your membership fee of £40 is payable to the Club Treasurer: Arthur Breslin or the Club Secretary: Andrew McNaught. You will be issued with a receipt when you pay your fee.

Now on to the important stuff!
This season the club has entered into the Ayrshire Golf Association (AGA) Handicap League and Handicap Knockout Cup (The Presidents Putter) The big question is…can we go one better this year and reach the final?

We will be sure to keep all members up to date with the teams progress through both competitions.

The club Doubles Championship held by Ian Patterson and James Donohoe will again be hotly contested this season. There are a few new pairings for this year which should make for some interesting matches throughout the course of the season.

The club Singles Championship held by Bryan McCandless will be tough to defend as the competition always throws up a few surprises. Played as a handicap matchplay tie this one can be won by anyone on their day.

Then there is the big one…The Club Championship. Can Andy Macdonald defend his first title in 2018? Or will someone else emerge victorious. Anyone bidding to win the Club Championship will have to be at their best as Andy proved the model of consistency in 2017.

Whatever the season has in store, we wish everyone good luck.

And remember…have fun!

All Ties, Dates and arrangements will be communicated to members in due course.

If you have any questions you would like answered please contact a Committee Member who will be only too happy to help.
